Eric Scot Tryon lives in Pleasant Hill, California with his wife, daughter, new kitten and two poison dart frogs. A self-proclaimed word-nerd, after receiving an MFA in Creative Writing and MA in English Literature from Chapman University, Eric has spent the past two decades writing, editing and teaching. With over a dozen short stories published in various literary journals, Eric has since switched his focus to the novel. He is currently querying his first – I’M THE OCEAN – and in the trenches writing his second. He is also a reader for the Chestnut Review.
When not writing or editing, Eric can be found playing bass and drums in the band Wheel House or planning his next trip to Colombia.
