Eric Scot Tryon

lives in Pleasant Hill, California with his wife, daughter, kitten and two poison dart frogs. A self-proclaimed word-nerd, after receiving an MFA in Creative Writing and MA in Literature from Chapman University, Eric has spent the past two decades writing, editing and teaching.

Eric is currently querying his first novel – I’M THE OCEAN – and is in the trenches writing his second. He has also published more than 20 short stories in various literary magazines and anthologies. And most recently, he founded the flash fiction based literary magazine – Flash Frog.

When not writing or editing, Eric can be found playing bass and drums in the band Wheel House or planning his next trip to Colombia.
